Mainly Pilates has been specializing in Mat Class work since 2001. We pride ourselves on the ability to create a space where students can come together in a group setting, and yet feel they are receiving private instruction.
With a keen eye on each individual, we are able to create a class experience that is both fun and focused. Utilizing small pilates equipment, such as foam rollers, stability balls and therabands, or just the mats themselves, we take our students through a series of progressive pilates movements that target all areas of the body, focusing on proper use of “the core” and increasing strength, flexibility, balance and coordination.

Basic / Mixed Level
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 12 noon- 1pm w/ Melissa
These classes are available in person and via Zoom.
In this new weekly ongoing mat class we will use time-tested Pilates principles to become attuned to the functions of the core and the joints, and how they work together to create strength, ease, and grace in the body. A well-rounded class that addresses all of the body, with a focus on good hip and core function, will leave you feeling gathered, longer through your limbs, and more centered overall.
WEDNESDAYS 6:15pm- 7:15pm w/Melissa
This class is offered as in person and via Zoom
This level assumes completion of the beginner level or a basic understanding of the fundamental principles of the Pilates technique. Continuing our general focus on strengthening and lengthening, the course progresses through the basic pilates repertoire. This class is often referred to as “mixed” level as beginners quickly express interest in progressing through the repertoire and more advanced students, recognizing the value of “returning” to the basics, often convene in this class. Clients managing chronic injury/pain may still receive great benefit from this level class.
Intermediate
Please contact us for further information
Continuing our progression through increasing levels of difficulty, we challenge the body with more complicated movements. Intermediate level includes longer movement sequences and increases the challenges to coordination and stamina.
