Mainly Pilates offers a uniquely personalized approach to the pilates technique. Led by an experienced staff of pilates professionals with former careers in dance, all of our classes ensure clients are creating a safe and structured foundation to explore the benefits of pilates. Whether you are recovering from injury, an experienced athlete, or just looking for a great workout, our focus on proper alignment and precision will challenge you, leaving you feeling stronger, taller, more balanced and invigorated.

Pilates refers to a system of exercise developed by Joseph Pilates, intended to strengthen both the mind and the body.  The 6 fundamental principles on which his philosophy of movement are based are: centering, control, flow, breath, precision and concentration. The strength of the core of the body serves as the foundation for Pilates exercise. Pilates exercises are done either on a mat on the floor, referred to as Pilates mat work, or on specifically designed exercise equipment developed by Joseph Pilates.
